What we collect

Account information. Your email address and a display name, used to create and secure your account.

Content you create. Goals, planned blocks, people and contacts you add (including relationship status and notes, if you use the Dating features), journal entries, and progress you log. This is the core content of the app, stored so it's there the next time you open it and syncs across your devices.

Usage signals. Lightweight, deterministic behavioral data — which categories and times you tend to follow through on, planning cadence, review ratings — used only to personalize plan suggestions. This is computed by simple heuristics, never by sending your data to a language model or any third party, and never used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Contacts (only if you use "Import from Contacts"). With your explicit permission, the app reads your device's contact list to show you a picker. For each contact this includes their name, phone number, postal address, photo, and — where your device has them — their birthday and any social-media profiles (handle and/or profile link). Only the specific contacts you choose to import are saved to your account; the on-screen list itself is never uploaded or stored anywhere. When a contact you import matches someone already in your People list, the imported details fill in blanks only — nothing you have already entered yourself is overwritten. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Calendar (only if you connect a calendar). Two separate, entirely optional integrations, neither tied to your sign-in:

Google Calendar. If you link a Google account, the app requests calendar-event access to sync your planned blocks in both directions.
Apple Calendar. If you connect it, the app asks iOS for calendar access and mirrors your blocks into a dedicated "Ultimate Life Planner" calendar it creates on your device. It never writes into your existing calendars, and this data stays on your device — it is not sent to our servers.

Notifications. If you enable reminders, the app requests permission to send local notifications — about upcoming blocks, your evening planning ritual, weekly planning, and (if you turn them on) an advance heads-up before a saved person's birthday. All of these are scheduled locally on your device; no notification content ever leaves it.

What we never do

We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
We never send your journal entries or dating and relationship data anywhere beyond your own account — not to another user, not to analytics, not to any AI model or third-party API. This is a hard rule the app is built around, not a policy we could quietly change: every place data could flow to another user (the Comps accountability feature) is deliberately built so journal entries and people/dating data are structurally impossible to expose, by what the underlying database functions are allowed to read — not merely by a setting someone could get wrong.
We never use your data to track you across other apps or websites.
On-device AI features (weekly plan suggestions, week-in-review insights) run entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Foundation Models. Your goals and schedule are never sent to a server or any external AI service for this feature. It requires an Apple Intelligence–eligible device to appear at all; on other devices, it is simply hidden.

What accountability partners can see

If you pair with another user as a "comp," they can see your display name, whether you completed your weekly check-in, and a summary of your goal titles, categories and progress for the week — nothing else.

They can never see your journal entries, your People and Contacts list, or any dating or relationship data, regardless of what you share with them elsewhere. Pairing requires both people to explicitly accept an invite; it is never automatic.

Your control over your data

Export. You can export a copy of your own data — goals, blocks, people, journal entries and history — from Settings at any time.
Delete. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings. This is immediate and irreversible; nothing is kept after deletion.
Learned profile. You can view, correct, or reset what the app has learned about your planning habits from Settings.

Data retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account deletes everything tied to it — every table in our database is scoped to your account and is removed automatically the moment your account is deleted, with no manual cleanup step and nothing left behind.
